• Offer information on resources to help appeal your property tax assessments.

Anyone that owns investment property realizes that one of the biggest costs of ownership is property taxes.  Investment property owners pay close to double the property taxes that owner-occupied, homestead property owners pay!  Knowing how to maintain an accurate assessment for tax purposes can make or break a rental business.

Tom Koetsier, real estate broker and investor, will share his extensive knowledge on the process of appealing tax assessments.  His course will provide hands-on examples of how to complete the process successfully.  Tom has successfully appealed dozens of property tax assessments.

Koetsier says that the appeals process can seem intimidating, but it really shouldn't.  Maintaining the proper assessment for your properties is one of the crucial components of managing investment property profitably.  The course will also include an explanation of the protection provided by the Mathieu-Gast Home Improvement Act.
